Renishaw MP1 Probe System

The MP1 is ideal for small machining center applications, and utilizes either hardwired or inductive transmission. Inductive transmission allows for automatic tool changing of the probe, as both power and probe signals are transmitted across a small air gap.

  • Sense directions: ±X, ±Y, +Z
  • Stylus overtravel:
    • X and Y: ±17.5°
    • Z: 8 mm (0.31 in)
  • Stylus trigger force:
    • X and Y: 57 gf – 115 gf
    • Z: 380 gf
  • Unidirectional repeatability 1.0 μm (0.00004 in)

Inductive transmission is not recommended for retrofit installations.
